Divisions & Areas of Competition

25% Essay (turned in ahead of time)
Topic is: How do you plan to raise awareness for childhood cancer in your community?
Much like on stage question, adults are able to complete this essay question if the contestant is not able to answer it for themselves. Judging will be done against division not all contestants.
10% Personal Introduction 
During Fun fashion portion of on-stage judging contestant will introduce themselves in three sentences.
10% Hobby
Contestants should wear outfits/costume that shows off contestants favorite hobby. Props are allowed. IE: Favorite hobby is reading. Dress as favorite book character and provide short description that emcee will read.
15% Fun Fashion 
Anything goes! Think runway, glam, sparkle, fun. Strut yourself in your best fashion outfit. 
15% Evening Wear
Should be age approrpriate and something that you would wear to a red carpet event. Formal pantsuits are acceptable if contestant would wear it to formal event.
